Is RokSprocket optimized for Gantry 5?

- Is RokSprocket designed for Gantry 5, or is it more of a Gantry 4 legacy product that still works or is emulated on Gantry 5? We want to upgrade our sites from Gantry 4, but they make extensive use of RokSprocket, and don't want to start from scratch using a legacy plugin designed for an older framework version.

RokSprocket has always been a standalone plugin... it works on any WordPress site, not just Gantry.
In that RokSprocket is built on MooTools... and in the JS wars, jQuery has won... the only issues I ever have with RokSprocket on any site, not just Gantry 5 sites, is when some other jQuery plugin doesn't like to run alongside MooTools plugins. All of our G5 Particles so far that have any javascript are just plain javascript or jQuery. - Last Edit: 7 years 4 weeks ago by Matt.
