Widgets Disappearing When One is Updated

This just started happening, the site was working fine 2 weeks ago... we haven't installed anything new.
When I go into update a Text widget on an override and save All widgets on that page disappear, except for the ones that are default. EVEN if I go into the database and make the change, they all disappear (All I was trying to do was update the hyperlink for an image). It also won't let me add a widget on any overrides anymore.
I've tried turing off other widgets, etc..
Running the latest version of Gantry 4.1.2 and WP 3.8.3
Any idea?

Hi there,
WP v3.8.3 is out dated - current is 3.9.1 - try updating (After taking a backup of course!)
Has your host changed anything at server level?
The obvious point is that things only stop working if something has changed. If it isn't the site then it's the server, even if that means a corrupted file.
