How to enable compression?

  • How to enable compression?

    • Just updated my website with a RT template, did a speedtest, and was told to "Enable Compression" and " Leverage browser caching".

Before I updated, I did not get these suggestions for improvement. My page speed was about 86 back then, now it is 64. I am running on a slower dev. server, but I have enabled all compression under the tempalte and under global configuration, so am pretty confused about what to do now.

I understood that earlier that I should not install RokGzip anymore.. but what to do then?

      Cheers

    • After installing rokbooster Google Page Speed tell me:
The website specified cannot be reached.

      Page speed:https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights

Before installing rokbooster I had no problem doing speed tests..

Should I do additional changes - like saying no to Gzip compression in global config?

    • UPDATE:

When using rokbooster, the site loses all styling after a few clicks too. Witout it is working fine, but with a terrible low page speed at 64 points.
