We launched our school website this week but it's painfully slow. It takes couples of seconds to load the pages.
We upgraded our server so now we are running 4 CPU and 4 Gig of Ram on Windows Server.
We are using WordPress (up to daye) and Alerion Theme.
Can somone look at it and see what I'm doing wrong and if this can be fixed.
Any help is appreciated.

thanks for your feedback.
my website is located in law server and not law2 server.
I belive there was a redirection (that I don't how it was setup) to look for files on law2 if they are not available in law.
the file in question is available with proper permissions.
Can you tell me how did you get law2 or how can I look for missing files please.
thanks.
I was able ti see the error using FireBug. But I still don't know which file is calling for "wp-content/plugins/gantry/assets/jui/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff"
OK. The law2 is returned because of the redirection when there is a 404 error (I'm working on this).
But even when I try to access the file "fontawesome-webfont.woff" directly I still get a 404 error even if the file is there.
I'm hosting this website on Windows server. Is this a permission issue or do I need to update Gantry?
I got the issue of WOFF files resolved as it seems to be a known issue on Chrome. I followed the instructions on this post and added the necessary code to my web config:
stackoverflow.com/questions/4015816/why-...-error-on-woff-files
Now I don't see any errors but I don't know if this will fix the speed issue.
I appreciate your lead on this and if there is anything that I need to look for please don't hesitate to let me know.
thanks
in Chrome, go to Developer Tools, toggle to the Network Tab, and refresh your page... the network tab will load with everything that's being loaded and the time it takes to load

If a thread is solved please edit your *original/first* post and place "[SOLVED]" (no quotes; don't forget the brackets) at the beginning of your post title. Changing the post icon to the Solved Checkmark is helpful too.
EDIT: Nevermind... looks like you were doing this while I posted
