RokMiniEvents with more than one module on page

Posted 9 years 4 months ago
    • Hi all,

I've installed the latest version and did all the steps from the documentation to get Google calendar working again. When I have only one MiniEvents-module on the page, it's working now, but when I try to put more than one module on one site, the whole site stays blank with an HTTP 500 error.

So is that a limitation of the new Google API? Or is it a bug or something in the module?

      Thanks.

    • More likely something to do with your server environment - please look in the apache error log and tell us the error message associated with the server500.

    • Thanks for the response.

The error doesn't show up in the error log. However, Chrome and Firefox only show a completely blank page, while Internet Explorer says something about the HTTP 500 error.

With the previous version and the previous Google API everything was fine.

    • Ok well there will be another error in the error log about the server 500 - and we do need to know what that says.

Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and i'll have a look for you.

also Please post your FTP logon, password and FTP URL in the secure area of your post.

    • ok, So I changed error level reporting to maximum in global config (you had it set to none)and now we get and error message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare google_api_php_client_autoload() (previously declared in /home/gretelco/public_html/modules/mod_rokminievents3/lib/RokMiniEvents3/Source/google/api-php-client/autoload.php:18) in /home/gretelco/public_html/modules/mod_rokminievents3/lib/RokMiniEvents3/Source/google/api-php-client/autoload.php on line 31

So, that's look like it might be a bug to me... not being able to have more than one rokminievents module on same page...

      I will investigate further...

      Regards, Mark.

    • I tried to recreate this - but it worked fine for me. So all I can do is to create bug ticket and ask our DEVS to investigate.

In the mean time, if you could put those RME on separate pages (menu items) you won't have the issue.

      Regards, Mark.
