RokSprocket lack of image dimensions for optimization

    • Would it be possible for this extension to insert the image dimensions it uses for various views in the generated HTML?

The lack of width/height dimensions is getting sites/pages marked down on Google PageSpeed in the 'Specify Image dimensions' category.

This is a feature request I guess!

    • No, it wouldn't because your should not specify these in a responsive template. Those messages are incorrect. Also scaling of images (by setting dimensions in a browser is bad practice and wasteful - if you want to make things optimal you should be swapping the images out to alternate sizes in different viewports using CSS). But if you want the one image to scale as the browser size changes then you should not be quoting any dimensions on the IMG tag at all.

Feature requests should be made in the "requests" forum.

      Regards, Mark.
