    • Been looking for a solution to responsive table designs. I needed something to keep the rows intact and not collapse everything vertically.

Found this http://fooplugins.com/footable-demos/ which works with just a few lines of javascript in the article with the table and uploading one js file and one css file to the rt_template css and js folders.

Works very nicely. Hope it helps someone.

    • Great work, is there a way to show the table head in front of each item (repeated for each one) like this:
Im using numbers in a table and its not that clear otherwise.

    • Hi Dan,

Thanks for supplying this info it has really helped me and I appreciate it!

I put in the html and css coding. I'm looking to just have a two color table, can you help me with what I need to do with the code to get the multi colors off? I looked at the css, but can't find anywhere it has the colors on the rows.

Here is my site, teh table is at the bottom:

Odd the custom CSS doesn't seem to be called. Would you please create a Super Admin login for me along with FTP access info and place it in the SECURE part of your Reply

    • Hi Dan,

Thanks for the offer I really appreciate it, I ended up removing the custom css and just made it a striped table:) I'm good with the table issue now.

However, if you want to look at my other mess involving my rokgallery post that would be awesome!

      Thanks,
      Mike

    • In addition of this beautiful solution (which I have used countless times!), sometimes, when dealing with larger complex tables, the stacking solution is not fully adequate. While looking for some solutions for larger, complex tables, I bumped into this: TableSaw Responsive Tables . Worked great for me. Hopefully helpfull to others.
