I don't have the Table-Content Section option, only List-Content Section.

Like David Sinclair, I also don't have a Table-Content Section option when creating new menus (I've reinstalled Joomla 1.0.10. - with the same result. Several people appear to have this issue...).
Does the top Parent Item have to be a Table-Content section?

I was wanting to make a menu like they have on this site but haven't figured out how.
So this works good for now. Only question I have is how to make the drop down menus a different color and take some opacity out so that you can see through them a little.

I want to have it the exact opposite way. In your exmaple, I want ABOUT US to appear on the top left vertical and MISSION in the top horizontal bar. Has anybody an idea how to do this? Here is my original thread with more information:

Ken, I'm relatively new, although I've been using Mambo since august 04. However, I'm not a programmer but learning PHP.
Question.: I read the post on Split Menus, but I'm still at a loss because I really don't understand when to use that function. What's the advantage over a regular type of menu? What the difference?
