Juxta Juxta, the August 2011 Theme Club release, is a design-centric theme, focusing on unique, professional and fresh visuals to constitute the fundamental appearance of the theme. Style is very important with any theme, and Juxta intends to entice any visitor of your site.

The theme has a plethora of features beyond its stylistic exterior. The core is composed of the Drupal CMS with customized theme administration, offering a mature and feature rich foundation for many advanced, flexible and versatile functions to make the theme extremely usable, modern and engaging.

Custom Style Control

You can control all the Presets via the theme manager configuration. All 6 presets appear at Admin → Themes → Juxta. You would then adjust the parameters in Theme-specific Settings to meet your requirements. On selection of a preset, the administrator automatically updates the Settings to match that particular preset. This system allows you to quickly and effortlessly customise a preset to your liking.

Additionally, we have pre-configured 6 preset styles to show a small selection of how the feature can be used.

960 Grid System

We now feature the 960 Grid system for simple and consistent layout for our themes. Along with easy customization in the theme administrator.

The entire theme is based on the grid system. Each block regions is divided into the appropriate grid based on the number of blocks in the region. You can modify the grid for each region in the Theme Admin > Grid Layouts section.

Installation


To Install Using the RocketLauncher

Download the Juxta RocketLauncher (rt_juxta_d6-rocketlauncher.zip) This is the RocketLauncher pack for Juxta which is a complete Drupal install which has the theme pre-installed and configured. Similarly, the demo content is injected and the modules are also pre-installed.
  • Extract d_juxta_d6-rocketlauncher.zip
  • Copy the contents to the location you want to install Drupal
  • Navigate to that location in your browser and run the Drupal installer
  • Drupal, the theme, demo content and modules will all be installed and enabled

Install Theme and Modules Only

Download the Juxta Theme (rt_juxta_d6.tgz) This file is the theme-only package you will use to install just the theme into Drupal.
  • Extract d_juxta_d6.tgz
  • Load your FTP client, such as FileZilla
  • Upload the d_juxta_d6 folder to the /sites/all/themes/ folder in your Drupal install
  • Login into the Drupal administrator
  • Go to Administer | Themes
  • Check Enable and Default to the right of Juxta
  • Click Save Configuration
Download the Juxta Modules (rt_juxta_d6-modules.zip) This file is the modules-only package you will use to install just the modules into your Juxta-themed Drupal site.
  • Extract d_juxta_d6-modules.zip
  • Extract the individual modules
  • Load your FTP client, such as FileZilla
  • Upload the various Juxta modules folders to the /sites/all/modules/ folder
  • Login into the Drupal administrator
  • Go to Administer | Modules
  • Enable the Custom Modules (Other) for Juxta
  • Click Save Configuration

There are other files that you may wish to download that accompany the release, but are not required for the theme to work.

  • Juxta Source PNG(s) rt-juxta-sources.zip – This contains all the Adobe Fireworks PNG source files for the theme, and if applicable, the logo font.
  • Juxta Background Source PNG(s) rt-juxta-sources-bg.zip – This contains all the Adobe Fireworks PNG source files for the theme backgrounds.
