Gantry Framework for WordPress Update
Our Joomla Gantry framework for template development has been a huge success. We've been releasing templates built on Gantry since December of last year, and it's proven to be even more powerful and flexible than we had hoped. Back in March of this year we began on porting Gantry to WordPress. This has been a lot more challenging and complicated than we expected just due to the huge differences in the underlying architecture, and also because WordPress does not really contain a full framework of web application functionality that Joomla does. However, we persevered, and have actually taken our knowledge we gained from developing on Joomla and have improved some core functionality to make the WordPress version even more powerful.
Obviously this has taken longer than we expected, but the benefits are huge. Gantry for WordPress is just as flexible and extensible as the Joomla version, it contains all the key features and functionality too. Some benefits such as Custom Presets, RTL, caching, iPhone support etc all work great and features traditionally not available in WordPress themes. Also some new benefits such as being able to create custom overrides of any Gantry setting and then assign them to page types, menu items, posts, pages, categories or post tags, ensures that Gantry will provide the most powerful and flexible WordPress themes you've ever seen.

Traditionally we like to release our WordPress themes during the middle of the month, but due to our big push to get Gantry for WordPress out, this date slipped. We plan on releasing our "Reaction" theme for WordPress in the next week or so, but because it's nearly a month late, we've added 1 month to every WordPress or WordPress Dev club member's expiration.
Thanks for being so patient with us!
