Last week I received an email from Patrick at phpbbhacks.com, a phpBB resource site that's been helping the phpBB community modify and implement phpBB since 2001. He let me know that the RocketTheme forum was selected as the featured phpBB implementation for the month of May 2009.

Things are really starting to move on the phpBB3 side of the shop. We are pleased to announce that you can now view and interact with the phpBB3 styles we have been working on via our new phpBB3 demo site. These are not 100% final, but are all getting pretty close. We have started beta testing these styles with a small private group of users (don't call us, we'll call you) and continue to make fixes and additions.

It's been long suspected, and you guessed it, phpBB3 styles are coming soon to RocketTheme. We've been working diligently for several months creating styles for phpBB3 that will allow you to run a forum with a Joomla! site with great visual integration. Also even without Joomla!, you'll be able to create a really great looking phpBB3 site based on these new styles that borrow heavily from their Joomla template brethren.
