Our new Affinity Joomla template has been two months in the making and we wanted to let you know why. First we've introduced an all new module reordering ability to Affinity that lets you order blocks vertically, and also modules horizontally in those blocks. Also you can reorder modules vertically in a module position. This gives you considerably flexibility to customize your own layout and stores these positions in a cookie so they are restored when you visit the page again. As well as this reordering capability we've spent considerable time providing styling support for some popular 3rd party components. We felt this design was particular well suited to social networking style sites, so we have provided compatibility for JomSocial. We have also spent a considerable amount of effort working closely with the JoomlaWorks developers to style K2 so that it provides a seamless experience in Affinity. Combined with our recently added K2 support in our content extensions, Affinity is a perfect choice for your next K2 powered Joomla site. Along with all this we are proud to be able to release our Affinity phpBB3 style to phpBB3 club members in conjunction with the Affinity Joomla template availability. Our demo contains a working example of the visual integration provided by the matching phpBB3 theme, as well as menu integration powered by our new RokNavMenu Exporter plugin. The demo also shows a few of the RokBridge modules in action. Along with these, we've tested and provided styling in Affinity for the ever-popular CommunityBuilder extension.

Lastly we've spent the past month building out our extensions offering to add features and functionality that are usable in Affinity. Our new RokStories module received a brand new layout option that was designed specifically for Affinity but can be used in any template or design. Don't forget that all Free and Club extensions are avaiable to Joomla and phpBB3 club members. Due to the amount of support for 3rd party extensions our RocketLauncher this month is a bit different from our demo site. The RocketLauncher contains the same content as the demo but JomSocial, K2, CommunityBuilder, RokBridge, and phpBB3 removed. These can all be downloaded and installed separately from their respective homes and locations.
