 This month we asked our community what they wanted to see in the next RocketTheme Joomla! template. We got some fantastic responses and we’ve tried to answer some of the more popular ones in one template.
ImageBentoBox comes with 3 light, and 3 dark styles. Although structurally the same, these two template bases create very different designs and allow for an extremely varied array of uses. Also, BentoBox uses a variation of a new CSS technique to provide a completely table-less design with a minimum of CSS hacks while still retaining module collapsing capabilities.
Other great features include 3 built-in menu variations: SplitMenu2, SplitMenu, and Suckerfish, as well as an option to use a module in place of the built-in menus. 12 Module positions, 4 module style variations, Accessibility options to choose font sizes, Ability to configure as Fluid or Fixed-width, the list goes on and on!

The exclusive RocketTheme menu systems in this template use the mainmenu by default and this menu is configured in the admin administator. For these to function correctly, understand that the ‘top level’ menu items will show up as the horizontal buttons across the top of the template. For sub menu items, assign Parent Item to these top menus to the top-level item. These will then show up below in a sub-horizontal menu when you click on a top-level item. Installation Instructions
This month we’ve created This is a guide that covers how to set up your new BentoBox template on your Joomla site and configure its features, functionality, and content to look similar to the RocketTheme BentoBox Demo FrontPage. Full details on how to install and setup the template can be found on the demo server

NOTES:
- This template fully supports full width configurations for use with galleries or forums, make sure you do not publish any modules in left or right and the ‘mainbody’ will fill the entire width.
Configuration
There are a couple of configuration options for this template. This month we’ve put the configuration variables in the template’s own index.php file. This way you can use the Edit HTML button in the Template Manager to quickly and easily make changes to these options. This is how you can choose the color variations and also configure some default variables. Also you can select which menu the RTSplitMenu system should use.
