RokLatest (UPDATED) is a new take on the standard Joomla! Latest News module. This one uses moo.FX to provide a snazzy interactive feel while maintaining usability and screen real-estate. A demo can be seen on the RocketTheme homepage . RocketTheme members can get support for this and the other RocketTheme extensions in the club forums. Yes, safari now works!

IE NOTES: moo.FX does not work with IE if your site template uses quirks mode . This affects the default Solarflare II template as well as some other older templates.

This version has several changes. First and foremost I’ve had to drop the javascript feature that auto-added the css file to the header. This worked fine in IE and Firefox, but caused Safari to go crazy. Instead of just inserted the link to the style inline. If you want/need your site to validate, just move this link into the tag of your Joomla template (line 130 in mod_roklatest.php).
Also I’ve added several new parameters that allow you to better control the moo.FX slider. You can now adjust the speed, transparency effect, and also whether or not the slider should open on the first item by default.
